General all purpose healers
Green Powders.
These relatively new products are blends of powdered herbs and grasses, natural enzymes, algae, extracts etc. - you name it - all proven beneficial to human health. (The author takes this every day.) Two fine versions are Greens Plus® from www.greensplus.com, and Active Greens® from www.activelife.com.Minerals. Minerals, especially calcium, are essential to human health for hundreds of reasons. But getting the right kind of mineral into the system in a form the body can use is a true art and science in itself. It seems everyone has a different opinion what form of mineral is best here - - - - metallic, organic, ionic, chelated etc. Notice how many calcium compounds there are these days ending in '-ate' ...... carbonate, citrate, malate, lactate etc.
Recently ionic forms of calcium and other important minerals like magnesium have appeared on the market and become become popular. They absorb easily and are in a form the body can put to use use immediately.
One new company is even offering minerals reduced to angstrom-size particles and suspended in water: www.enviva.com. The diameter of atoms is measured in angstroms. (The wavelength of light is one angstrom.) But these easily-absorbed types are pricey.
Those magic mushrooms. The healing powers of these strange members of the plant kingdom have been known for centuries. www.mushroomscience.com and www.fungi.com are sources.
Fungi.com markets a product called Mycosoft® which is a blend of nine medicinal mushrooms proven very useful in fighting cancer.
Essiac Tea. Here is a herbal blend successfully used for many years by a pioneering Canadian nurse Rene Caisse. This unassuming lady successfully treated thousands of cancer patients. Essiac is her name spelled backwards. There are literally dozens of websites talking about Essiac and hundreds of related books. One good source selling a version made from organically grown herbs is www.essiacsource.com. For a detailed discussion see www.cat007.com/essiac.htm. See also www.comboweb.com/essiac/nurse.htm or http://essiac-info.org/. At her funeral in 1978 at age 90, hundreds of former cancer patients paid their last respects to her for saving their lives.
Despite this remarkable history, inexpensive, non-toxic Essiac goes completely ignored by conventional medicine to this day.Aloe vera. Used by humanity for 4 thousand years and frequently mentioned in the bible, aloe is a potent all-purpose healer. The Mannatech Corporation, a multi-level marketing company, offers a stabilized version in pill form with worldwide patents called Ambrotose.
Laetrile. Although not an "all purpose healer", special mention is made again for this long standing, successful alternative cancer treatment which still remains banned by the American government despite 50 years of continuous usage worldwide. Laetrile (also called Amygdalin or vitamin B17) is a powerful cancer fighter when used with other appropriate treatments. The book "Alive and Well", by Philip E. Binzel Jr. MD documents his many success stories using Laetrile.
Because of the difficulty in finding and purchasing Laetrile (Laetrile is a commercial named adopted decades ago) many people simply eat raw apricot seeds which contain the active ingredient so effective against cancer. Sources of the seeds are suggested earlier in this report. For therapeutic purposes, people using it have told the author they eat one seed per day for every 10 pounds of body weight, and eat them gradually throughout the day - never all at once. For routine prevention, about 5 apricot seeds (the seeds are contained within the apricot pits) per day are eaten. Eating too many will bring on strong flu-like symptoms. The problem with it according to the government has always been the trace of cyanide it contains. Curiously, they don't complain about vitamin B12, the scientific name of which is cyanocobolamin. The prefix "cyano' here refers to cyanide. Or apple seeds which also contain the same. So do 1200 other grains, grasses etc. commonly eaten every day around the world.
